The reality behind the magic of Namale is that this is a very large property
spanning over 525 acres and is in a tropical climate. What that means to
our Namale team is that we must constantly and consistently work behind
the scenes to battle the elements. This can be a challenging adventure
considering the lofty ceiling peaks in our authentic Fijian style of architecture
and the beautifully placed decks which are built upon lava pinnacles
stretching out over the picturesque Koro Sea.
For our guests who return time and time again and know our Namale
Family by name, we hope you will enjoy seeing these photos of some of us
engaged in acrobatics while cleaning the ceiling of the Main Bure or
trimming that pesky limb that was blocking the sun by your pool. Even
those of you who have not yet visited our particular slice of paradise can
appreciate the precarious nature of some of the pictured tasks.
Our carpentry team is constantly working on deck maintenance and
recently completed our newest deck at Walu Restaurant. This beautiful
deck provides a romantic breakfast and lunch dining venue where our
guests have most recently been entertained by pods of dolphins playfully
cruising past in the mornings. In addition to the intimate covered dining
tables for two, we included a large open air bure that also serves as our
